Alstrom Point
Alstrom Point is a spectacular overlook giving you panoramic views of Gunsight Bay, Gunsight Butte, Navajo Mountain, and Lake Powell from 1,100 feet on Romana Mesa.
Alstrom Point is best at sunset as all the colors come alive. A 4 x4 and high clearance vehicle is recommended.
Tours to Alstrom Point are available. These tours run four and a half hours to six hours depending on what time of day you go and how much time you spend at the overlooks.
The tours take you along the base of the Grand Staircase Escalante, where they stop at some points of interest.
The next stop will be at the main overlooks. This is a local favorite spot and one you will not want to miss.

This Tour is perfect for those that do not want to do a lot of hiking.
Skylight Arch
Skylight Arch is located on Stud Horse Point Mesa about 6 miles outside of Page, AZ. Once you get on top of the Mesa there are some Hoodoos. Once you pass the Hoodoos you continue on the journey with sweeping views of Lake Powell, Lone Rock, Castle Butte and Navajo Mountain.
On the west side of the Mesa is the Amangiri resort. The 4×4 vehicles can only make it so far where the road is blocked off. The hike to the arch is just over a mile.
4×4 is required.
There is hiking involved with this activity. There is no shade on the hike.
